Which did we Buy and Why?

We purchased the Hyundai 1000W / 1kW Petrol Inverter Generator. As motorhomers, we rely on our solar panels and battery back to run the fridge and produce electricity for lighting, running computers, charging and TV. 90% of the time this works well, so no need for a generator except in extream circumstances. The little Hyundai in now a few years old and always starts and performs when needed. The little generator will not run a hair drier, however the inverter, which is connected to the leisure batteries does a great job of that for the 5 minutes or so a day it is needed. We have the comfort of knowing that if batteries do run to low, then the generator will get us going again. It has no trouble in doing so.
